Not everyone has been so lucky, however: Nearly 4,000 people have moved from Haiti to Brazil since the devastating earthquake in 2010, and many of them have found things just as bad in Brazil. I gotta tell ya. I’ve been preaching that the best way to fix the supposed “problem” with “illegal immigration” in the USA is by helping Mexico and our Latin American countries to increase employment. Instead of pouring money into a wall, border patrol, the War Against Drugs, immigration police - we should spend that money on stabilizing the economies of the South, helping them to eliminate corruption and tear down the drug cartels. Humans are like fireflies and the light is fair labor.
